At PBS NewsHour, Kennedy’s tenure as a Communications, and Marketing Consultant was transformative. Collaborating closely with the President, she crafted a strategic plan that diversified fundraising efforts, tapping into foundations, government agencies, corporations, philanthropies, and individual donors. Her execution of integrated multi-platform communication and marketing campaigns significantly enhanced the organization’s reach and impact. Notably, she initiated the “Friends of the NewsHour” donor affinity group, boosting annual revenue substantially. During her time with the Aspen Institute, Kennedy again demonstrated her prowess in fund development and strategic communications.
